What is it?

Meet Household Reboot

A 30-day* framework for busy, overwhelmed families — co-parents and single parents juggling household logistics while working full time.

Household Reboot is a simple, guided system that helps families, co-parents, single parents and even multi-generational homes create a working household structure — where responsibilities are clear, tasks are shared, communication is easier, and everyday life runs with less chaos.

✓

A practical framework

Not another chore chart or app nobody uses — a step-by-step system you adapt to your real routine.

✓

Built for busy families

Couples, co-parents, single parents, and multi-generational homes juggling household logistics while working full time.

✓

Designed to bring relief & stability

In 30 days*, move from carrying everything in your head to a shared system that lowers stress and provides structure.

The problem

Household responsibilities often live in one person's head.

When all the logistics, schedules, unwritten chores, and expectations exist only in memory, running a home becomes exhausting. One person ends up feeling like the default household manager — tracking, delegating, and inspecting everything.

  • —Carrying school deadlines, grocery lists, chore schedules, and doctor visits in your head all day.
  • —Important things slip through the cracks — not from a lack of care, but because there's no shared visible system.
  • —Asking three times for the same chore. It feels like nagging to one person and criticism to the other.
  • —Evenings that should be spent relaxing together instead turn into debates about who did what.

The result: You're stuck in reactive mode — dealing with emergencies, reminding people repeatedly, and feeling like you can never truly relax.

Why a system beats an app

Isn't there an App for that?

Turns out Apps and digital calendars can be useful tools, but by themselves they can't solve the full range of challenges a busy household faces.

Real, lasting improvement comes down to two key things:

01

Upfront Decisions

The upfront work that makes the invisible work visible — clarifying expectations and defining real ownership across the household, so tasks stop living in one person's head.

  • ✓Surface every hidden responsibility through a guided brain dump
  • ✓Negotiate and get real commitment from every household member
  • ✓Agree on what 'done' looks like for each shared domain
02

Sticking Power

Building the habits that will make THIS time different — not just another well-intentioned reset that fades after a couple busy weeks.

  • ✓A simple weekly planning and reset rhythm, not daily willpower
  • ✓Habit stacking plan to help solidify the new way of doing things
  • ✓Quick troubleshooting guides for when routines get disrupted
  • ✓Lightweight accountability so the system survives real life

The point: Household Reboot combines both — the framework that makes invisible work visible and clarifies who owns what, plus the sticking power to make it last. An app alone just moves the to-do list to a screen.

The result

A working home system you can count on.

Household Reboot shifts your family from reactive chaos to organized teamwork — giving you back your time, mental space, and peace of mind.

Everyone knows exactly what they're responsible for. No ambiguity, no guessing.

Family members own tasks from start to finish rather than waiting to be instructed.

Simple tools and neutral scripts replace nagging with calm, constructive conversations.

04

Reliable weekly routine

A predictable planning and reset rhythm that sets up smoother weekdays and freer weekends.

    Improve communication

Use neutral scripts and templates so that responsibilities are handled without nagging or guilt.

  5. 05

About the founder

Why Both Hands Free was born.

As a mom raising two daughters while building a fast-paced career in tech in Silicon Valley, I experienced firsthand how difficult it was to keep household responsibilities organized and everyone on the same page.

Even with loving intentions and a supportive spouse, the invisible cognitive burden — remembering schedules, coordinating meals, tracking chores, and constantly reminding family members — felt like a whole second job managed during nights and weekends.

"It's easier to just do it myself!"...Sound familiar? There just wasn't enough time to research complicated organizing theories or test rigid chore apps that kids and partners quickly abandoned. What busy families actually need is a simple, practical framework that takes tasks out of one person's head and makes household flow natural and sustainable.

That journey led to Both Hands Free and the Household Reboot framework — built to give families their time and peace of mind back, so their hands are free for what truly matters.

✓Built from real working-family experience
✓Zero judgment, guilt, or perfectionism
